To use it you need only to unzip jvcoding2e.zip
- To start JVCoding2 just enter java JVCoding2
- First click on any component in the "Tools" palette.
- Click on the composition window where you want the component to appear.
- The component will become the current selected component in the composition window.
- The left-hand window or "Properties" shows its properties and provides access to its properties.
- Enter a new value for any property then press Enter
- To select a component you must click this component
- You can move the currently selected component by clicking the red rectangle and dragging this component
- You can resize the currently selected component by clicking on one of the corners (green rectangle) and stretching the corner out or in
- DEL will remove the currently selected component
- The code is displayed in the "Code".
- To select the applet or the application click on an empty area of the composition window
- Once your applet or application is ready, you can save your work by using "File" ->"Save" to save away your java and an HTML file (applet), or only a java file (application)
- To compile your code enter javac file_name.java
- Note : Make a copy of your images in the same directory as JVCoding2 before starting.
